Thanks for sharing!
Do you wanna help us out with it? Consider contributing!
We want to compile articles on LGBT history, personal stories, and quotes - that you make! Then we want to compile them all into a neat book and sell it online and (possible in an actual book) - then donate the proceeds to charity.
What we need:
We plan on having a chapter for EVERY SINGLE SEXUALITY and GENDER IDENTITY that we possiblly can, that includes:
- asexual
- bisexual
- gay
- lesbian
- pansexual/panromantic
- demisexual/demiromantic
- trans male to female
- trans female to male
- genderqueer
- any others that we missed?
For each sexuality/gender we want:
- an opening quote
- article on the history of each sexuality/gender
- a poem
- three personal stories
- another poem
- a closing quote
Do you want to contribute? Email queerwritesproject@gmail.com or contact us via the ask button. When you submit please indicate your full name(so we can give credit where it is due) or your pen name, your sexuality/gender identity and what you want to contribute! This book will be entirely composed of submitted posts. REBLOG THIS! Let us know that you’re interested!
I couldn’t think of anything unique or interesting to post this weekend, sorry. This blog has a lot of followers, though, so I thought I could try posting a discussion question. I know discussions on tumblr don’t work as well as on other sites, but reblogging works ok.
So, onto the question! Do you identify as queer based on your gray-a/demi identity? What about GSM (“gender and/or sexual minority” in this case sexual minority)?
I personally identify as queer for other reasons and being gray-a is part of my GSM identity, but not my queer one.
